NAB was $32.50 they are about $36.00 today
ANZ $15.00 $26.00 today.

Banks are not in a transport sector.
Qantas is.

The banks have not started 3 three new airlines - Jetstar, Jetstar Asia, and Australian Airlines. Qantas has.

- Not sure how Jetstar would go if it did not have the support from the domestic operation that it is killing, but I do know that Australian Airlines has lost a stack, so to has Jetstar Asia.

Now they are starting up Jetstar international. Well I thought that Qantas was a really well known and respected brand. I dont see why they are taking such a risk srarting another airline.

Qantas is taking a huge risk with Jetstar international. They are not looking at growth, but at what risk?

I would be much happier if they used their existing skill base for their new projects. They have fantastic staff, good management. If the two ever work together, really good things could happen. However to send your maintinance offshore, and run interviews in the middle east for pilots, instead of using their Australian Maintinance, and Australian pilots.............
