going to melbourne for 3 days, page-2

the girls would like Chapel St, but they will love anywhere in Melb cbd, as for eating....stacks of places to choose from, just go for a stroll, you cant go wrong...
it is so competititive for food, you dont have to go to an expensive place for good food....
guessing, the girls will be more interested in fashion anyway...
The highflyers from Sydney go to Chapel St for the fashion...all the designers down there, but I think its over rated....you will find just as much in the city..

the paris end of Collins st should suit them to a T
have a look at this site, gives you maps etc
and remember the Trams do a city circle trip, and its free
takes you all around the city centre...

if they must go to Chapel St, catch a cab should cost around $15 ...
or take the No 8 tram to Toorak/chapel St, takes around 15-30 minutes depending on time of day...will cost around $7.00 for 3 people each trip
the trams run every 12 minutes during daylight, and every 1/2 hour in the evening..
