The POG is going along well but gold stocks are not going...

The POG is going along well but gold stocks are not going anywhere. When the pog starts to go down again, as it does, then unprofitable gold mining companies (like this one) will be worth less . If a rising gold price can't translate into higher share prices then a falling gold price will just slap them silly.
