Maybe CP will want it that way or may be not.
This may be the wrong time to go to the market with an IPO especially in Hong Kong. Current price may be reflective of what will happen to such a large capital raising ie HK$32 billion the price may fall soon after listing. Sentiment in HKG is not real good atm and is likely to stay that way for quite some time. This is assuming that CP hasn't got 3 or 4 institutions already lined up to take the bulk of the shares.
I think what the current SP is telling us is that RDI isn't worth as much as people think.
I would be interested in hearing why the current low SP suits CP. How does he benefit from low values of ARH given the price being set at $2.20 by RDI.
