I reckon that CNP can stay afloat but it needs to sell some quality assets at a discount because of the current market environment.

However, the situation is not as easy as it sounds. In this instance you must also realise that primary debt holders will expect first bite at those quality assets so they might object to selling them at a discount. The matter is extremely difficult with multiple priorities with the poor shareholders right down the bottom.
