>And many here need a reality check, you whinge when there are no anns and you complain when there are!!
TG, I guess we can agree that all anns are not the same. Just because they release a forward looking statement doesn't mean we should all be dancing naked in the streets. God help us all if it ever comes to this ;-)
Sure, it's important to keep the news flowing and whatever helps to keep the share price moving has to be welcome news. This ann was a positive one in the sense that it confirmed a successful 5th quarter in a row.
It does however also have the typical trademarks of an AB announcement. It contains no hard evidence. They may well have surpassed their sales targets but we simply don't know what targets they had in the first place. And let's be honest, they have taken us for a ride many, many times with that sort of statement only to let us down in the last minute.
So no wonder people including myself are a bit cynical when it comes to their announcements.
Here are the positives:
- The sales pipeline (famous word) is twice as big. - Significant enterprise and government contracts in final stages. - Still on track for profit during 2010 (But still not quite there yet)
I agree that buying can't hurt here. That's if you can sit back and wait for the results to unfold. It's not a one day affair but it's coming together nicely. We have never seen quarterly figures. I wonder whether they will release them this time? I know they said they will update the market quarterly but does that mean we see figures or was that it?
Good luck!
