I'm glad. I added another nice parcel earlier today. Buy stocks when they're unloved. If you're buying when the masses are singing they're praises, you're more than likely paying too much.
Retail is still on the nose. But I have a sneaking suspicion that this xmas might be one of the biggest on record, possibly unleashing a wave of re-ratings!
Honky, no disrespect, but back in August, you posted on WBC - 'why would you buy banks at a time like this'.
The price was $19.09 then and fell to high $17's. Talk couldn't get any more pessimistic in the media and on HC. Precisely the time to make an entry for me. Unfortunately, the hype has changed, and I didn't manage to get the total position I would have liked. Still 15%+ in those 2 months is okay.
JBH's day in the sun will once again come.
