Hi chaz, I agree with your assessment of China's strong position. But I think it's a fine line they are treading and While America remains an important trading partner, I think this will continue. They will always act in their own interests. the U.S. Is decidedly confrontational towards China, but China, IMO, will continue to play a clever game avoiding military escalation which is so fervently sought by the political and Pentagon Hawks in Washington.

We can safely say the gold play by China and Russis is checkmate.
It's all over bar the shouting.
I think China reveals its gold holding this year, because all the other Chinese financial developments look ready for this year, and not requiring another 5 years to fulfill.
