Like the last couple of years, there was the usual end-of-year bet on the price of gold.

Bets have been in for months, but since there's a very high poster turnover on the gold forum as they go broke or lose sufficient funds and become depressed enough to throw in the towel, you're probably not aware of it.

It's not a secret, my end-of-year bet for the end of 2015 is $970.
