The last time their gdp was higher the entire world was at nuclear was with extermination camps. The soldiers were in hell and all they dreamed about was going home and starting a family. They did and the economy boomed, creating the baby boomer generation.

Now is very different. We not at war. The baby boomers are slowing down, except mine, the world is not starving for commodities, populations are decreasing in power houses like japan and finally the public are growing impatient with all the bonds for an imaginary war fought on computer screens. Japans bond sales are beginning to dwindle. I have never bought a treasury bond although I get tempted with the bank notes but then realise I am not preserving a big fortune. Bush said we are at economic war. Well war is hell but this time the masses will be unaware until it is too late to act. I am accumulating and will accumulate with patience. Even if it takes 30 years.

Bring on rates. Stupidity scares me.
