With global currencies falling the US is going to have to devalue their dollar or they will suffer worsening trade imbalance.

DOW was down 1000 points at one stage last night and the media is saying the big fall was just that algo's weren't responding properly to the volume, yeah that is the reason, nothing to do with the financial buggery or the over inflation of assets that has taken place for the last 7 or 8 years.
If this correction is not allowed to run its course then we will be back here in a year or two posting the same stuff.
