I did average down Dhuy which I normally don't do. Problem was I caught a falling knife. I normally sell, but got badly caught in gold stocks because everything pointed to the conditions for gold being more and more bullish.

I'm not the only one. Just go back to kitco.com last year and see the non stop bullish articles on gold and gold shares just about every day while gold equities in particular were collapsing. Eg - the huge buys suggested in August - the seasonal low. Just perfectly timed to be totally smashed.
