IMO the important question is not how high gold will shoot to but rather the timing of the shoot. Looking back at the oil recession of the 70's it took a long time for gold to shoot (1980 peak) and then ofcourse it dropped back as the economy started to boom again. I'm guessing we may peak in 2011. For me this timing is more important than whether it reaches $1350, $1500 0r $2000. Like many posters IMO $10000 is not a sensible prediction.
