Roadkill - before you speak to soon, did you ever think half a million dollar homes would be the norm? Never say never mate, these things might come back to bite you on the bum. If the USD totally tanks things might be very, very different. Admittedly it may take some time.
Gold is an asset and as currencies depreciate assets appreciate. Just MHO.
