It may only be subtle, but for the first time in quite a while, it would appear that gold and the $AUD may have parted ways...although only marginally.

If this is true and gold has finally shaken (or is about to shake-off) the usual correlations, it could help to explain the renewed interest in some Aussie resource stocks of late...especially Nickel and Gold stocks.
