Smetitah, the Y2K bug, the Mayan Calendar, the grassy knoll, Pastor Tom Cobley, et al may not concur on an economic collapse and the rise and rise of gold, but if we cast our eyes to the geopolitical headwinds, asset bubbles, rampant debt creation and unorthodox policies being pursued by central banks, we find we do not need the prophecies and prognostications of cooks and cranks to have an idea as to where this is all heading.
