Yeah...it gave away all the gains...as did HUI. A big shame . Still a close at USD 1,259-1260 is quite a respectable showing (Maybe still trading now...unsure.). We're luck to be there.
Oil will be the big story this weekend, up over 5% to a phenomenal $36.26!!!!. Soon, we'll once again hear "the bottom is in". Still under the $40 of last AUG, the week of "woe" aka "global rout" People will conveniently forget that. I have a story about that, for another time.
Stocks were patchy...uneventful. 10 Yr Note rose, indicating people were selling Bonds....but they weren't buying stocks...SP only moved up .33%. closing at ..........................drum roll...1999.99!!!
I think all market participants are very confused now.
