First of all, what it is meant by an European collapse? I for one have no idea. Does it mean Greece defaulting with ramifications through out Europe? Or does it mean Slovania leaving the euro followed by Greece, Portugal, Ireland, Spain and Italy? Or does it mean the EFSF not being big enough to protect Italy from creeping interest rates? Or what?

The same may, of course, be asked about what is meant by a Greek followed by a Portuguese, Spanish and eventual Italian collapse.

"Long term gold wil go as high as the US$ will go as low, its anyones guess , all depends on how low the uS$ goes"

US dollar going down in relation to what? The euro? The British pound? The Chinese Yuan?

However, what I like best in this prose is the idea that in the long run the price of gold in terms of US dollars will go as high as the UD$ will go low.
