"Gold shares vs gold price is at an extreme" - that's a very good point you make john ...... if any other businesses were trading at these mutiples they would be snapped up within minutes .... you might have noticed I had a go at going long with MML 3 times, only a few weeks ago ...... it was only through some nimble footwork and probably a lot of luck. that I got out of these trades with just a tiny o/a loss..... its not as easy as it seems to act on what the charts are telling you rather than what you think...... so eventually I have made the 180 degree turn around.....
its good to have someone like yourself who is able to sit back and look at things calmly with a longer term viewpoint ..... its a great asset to have......
one of the reasons for gold's low price is the low inflation rates world wide..... even in the US, I read in the paper today, inflation has just come in with a rate of 1.7%, down from 2%....
