I was surprised to see how well Bitcoin and cryptos in general held up last week. That just changed. In the last 24 hours Bitcoin dropped 6%. Ethereum down 12.5 %. Not good omens for any sort of a recovery in markets today. I agree with expectations posted by others here. Today could be ugly. I held gold shares during the 1987 crash. I had it seared into my memory that the price of gold held up well during that crash, but gold stocks went lower than the average share on the all ords. In times like these, very little is safe from a sell off. In the short term, physical gold is all I have confidence in. I'm going detecting again next week. To Bendigo.
