I gather the Yen carry trade is unwinding which may be the reason the Japan market is going down so much - I read that the carry trade has $4 tr in assets that may need to unwind and someone on another thread suggested $20tr - the unwinding will really impact the US markets as well. Jana on currency is soaring as the Japanese bring back home money ie sell other currencies and buy yen.
