Saw Buffet increased his cash by nearly 50% in last quarter as reported in AFR - most by selling almost half his stake in Apple. He is also selling BoA. Then I noticed this chart.
Not a good omen for the sharemarket when Buffet has so much cash - history suggests a fall in the sharemarket will occur at some future point - are we at that point (I have no idea)?
Not sure what to make of selling Apple shares.
Buffet has over 25% in cash. Still bullish on POG over next few years even though it may fall from current high levels in the short term and gold shares may fall much more than POG including SPR in the short term.
Examining the macro picture makes one a better investor.
