Something I was writing for my own benefit, but figure I could share it here in case anyone finds the information useful, and perhaps I could get some tips as well. Of course, my entire position in the short term rests upon my belief that it is finally here. High interest rates are finally breaking something, I do not know what that something is.
But I believe it is finally here, and Aug 1 was the start of it. And it will be .... big.
Btw, that 3 month period in 2009 was very memorable for me because Lehman Bros collapsed, and then my son was born right as it happened and unfolded.
I have been doing some paper trading in gold futures to test, and it's a good thing it was only on paper!
