Why the drama ?
You are not comparing apples and apples...spot gold vs explorer that :
- yet to restart mining, finalise mineral resource
- won't see it's next gold bar in earliest say 18 months +
- currently valued at best with lots of wiggle room using NPV with cashflows going out 10 - 15 yrs or estimated free cash flows with built in lots of uncertainty of gold prices over that time
- likely has some takeover speculation built into price
Yes SPR has exciting momentum and hopefully lots of upside possible (not guaranteed) - but should you be expecting it to track the current spot price over a 4 day period?
