Yep, It probably matters more for any non-gold holdings in our portfolios. Even though a bad NFP/unemployment number will also take down the miners, I feel pretty strongly that gold is in the perfect pocket at this time in history. You have global debts/government deficits to the moon, a majority of the world’s people want to move away from the USD reserve, central banks buying, interest rates likely falling, big gold discoveries more difficult to fiind, … the list goes on, and on. I don’t think the Spartan investment case will be diminished, unless by some miracle the price of gold starts falling many hundreds of dollars. POG would probably need to fall a thousand dollars to seriously affect the investment case here. I just continue to buy every dip, and I fully expect SL and the team to keep adding ounces like there’s no tomorrow.
