And to your points, add that they are shorting in the face of the Mideast situation boiling, and Biden publicly stating that he is in discussions with Israel regarding Israel potentially striking Iranian oil facilities, with gold responding by approaching all time highs once again. Holding those shorts over the week end is a fool's game. And I can't see their odds improving much in the mid term either.
