Just to add some spice.... I believe SPR is able to buy back 0.36% of the royalty for $3.15m, so in effect, Osisko paid $47.7 USD for 1.44% (SPR have the option to buy it back up until 2027, which they will obviously do at some point).
As you eloquently put it, Osisko is buying into this because they view it as having a very long mine life.... with exploration upside.
SPR does have significant tax losses, though in the scheme of things, they probably don't change your calcs very much
