I think... and have for a while... it's simply....

Sigh... I had a great GIF of 'smells like opportunity', but this will have to do... what.png

Now... for most on the HC forums that are even partially invested in precious metals, the move in gold is perhaps not surprising, but... as I try to listen to a wide range of views (some I think even for me are out there) and over recent months, this video/podcast featuring Luke Gromen (( Luke Gromen: A U.S. Recession Remains Highly Unlikely or if you just want, listen to the podcast (search for the same title, I have listened to it 3 times to make sure I have fully understood, well, as best as I can as to what is happening )) seems to explain the general nature of the markets and... more importantly, the move in gold. I won't quite say it, but.... the period of time we find ourselves in is historic (but not unique if you have studied a little history).

Usually I would save this sort of sharing for the gold thread, but... SPR has a special place in my portfolio (and there are a plethora of great minds who share their thoughts on these threads), even though I am always trying to gauge if I have become to 'close' to a stock. Listen to the end.... do some mowing, clean the gutters, take your kids to the 3rd sporting even for the day.... and get a clearer picture as to what is really driving gold (and I guess why the likes of SPR is... for me, a good place to ride it all out).

Most interestingly for me.... I don't think sentiment is overly strong in the sector, even with record profits.... a decade of price slams, miners underperforming and an almost total lack of interest from the greater market, gives me confidence that... once in a lifetime the right commodity at the right time can change your life (I mean... well done to the Lithium investors even just last year....). We will see of course and I am always trying to be in the most undervalued stocks, not the most risky (though perhaps I did do that in years past).

Good luck to all holders... I have said it before, but.. SPR is a rare beast, perhaps, even rarer than DEG (though in a way DEG is rarer because, large open pits of such size are almost.... never found anymore).
