Maybe too serious - I’m inclined to be sour on Barton as I was invested in WPG - the company that was liquidated so as to be rebirthed as Barton, and then I had shares in Barton for a while too, until completely losing faith and getting out with (thankfully) a small profit.
I have a few shares in Brightstar as well as well, and I guess the irk there comes not so much from Rovira as from a few instances of Hedley Widdup’s promotional passion.
