According to three well-known investors who were depicted in the film “The Big Short”, investors should be scooping up gold for the long haul.Danny Moses, Porter Collins, and Vincent Daniel are three Wall Streeters who successfully bet against the US housing market during the 2008 subprime mortgage crisis. The trio said in an interview on CNBC dubbed the “Big Short Reunion” on Friday that “gold remains one of their top long-term bets in their portfolios. That’s largely because of rising debt levels in the US, and we see a huge debasement of the US dollar in coming years. It’s too much, just think about that one dollar in your wallet.
