Great post, best I have seen in a long time. May I ask what metal and if if was low grade or high grade, big or small deposit?
I invested in AZS last year and made a bundle of money and I look back and realise it was a godsend that it was take over as it forced me to sell (Sold out shortly after take over was announced which was about 6 months before it delisted and invested a lot of the proceeds in SPR). The posters on HC all thought AZS was sold too cheaply but in hindsight it was sold at a high price.
I did sell some AZS on the way up and reduced my purchase cost by about 40%. Recently took profits in SPR to reduce my cost base by about a third but still have a very large position. I am looking to sell more SPR after the PFS/DFS/reserve next year.
