Thanks for sharing mate, that was a brilliant post as others have said. FWIW I totally agree with your 15% (ish) of portfolio limit on stocks, and@Moreplenty's statement about champing at the bit to buy others.
I force myself to lighten position as they grow too large in my stable (recently CU6 and SPR), and like @calmbeforestorm I was lucky enough to get on AZS, but I sold parcels of tha on the way up too. If that TO offer hadn't come, we would have slid a long way back down with the rest of the lithium tickers. Sure it limits crazy gains at times, but you don't go broke taking a profit.
I keep a running document of approx 4-5 stocks I'm looking to enter (mostly Au ATM), and it does make it much easier to offload shares when it means you can pull the trigger on something you've been tracking, and opening a new position still gives me a real buzz for some reason.
