Apparentky most of the additional money going into US stocks has been from ETFs plus hedge funds are 100 times more long than short ATM.
if there starts to be much of a correction in the US stock market withdrawals from ETFs plus hedge funds covering will drive the market down a lot more.
In addition fund mangers have historically low cash levels , plus US investors have record levels of stock optimism and investment managers record levels of optimism (all 3 ATHs)
In my view the US stock market is an accident waiting to happen - watch this space!
but the stock market may also go much higher making the downturn all the worse when it does eventually occur.
All this bodes well for POG in next few years.
