While its good to see POG in $US rebound to about $2,765 it is even better to see POG in $A at $4,440 ATH, up almost 2% in a day, marching its way to possibly $4,500 in the short term. All Australian gold producers are printing huge amounts of cash that is only getting bigger and bigger. Dec 25 quarter seems to show gold miners achieving a POG around $4,050. In January to date the average POG has been about $4,300 and it seems possible for that to reach $4,400 for the first quarter 2025 - for a 100k Oz producer unhedged that is an additional cash flow before tax of $35m pa and for a 300k Oz producer like RMS, GOR, etc that is $105m pa or $26m more per quarter - RMS will be adding $250m in cash flow per quarter or $1b as will a few other miners.
The cash being produced by gold producers is quite speculator yet their share prices are very very cheap. How long will it be before they re-rate much higher.
