I just wanted to expand on your point around SOI for SPR compared to its peers. I don’t see why that is a major concern for you
Yes they may have a lot of shares on issue compared to all of them but have you checked average traded volumes. Even with more shares on issue SPR still has lower trading volumes than most of its peers. NST RMS WGX GMD GOR all trade more volume.
I think that just goes to tell the story that the stock holders in the stock are actually INVESTORS in the stock and don’t use it as a trading stock which is exactly what we want right now so I don’t see SOI as an issue especially as the Goldie’s that are not in production are significantly undervalued compared to the gold producers.
i feel the likes of stocks like FMG have had similar scenarios to SPR but yet the shareholder value for FMG continues to rise with their high SOI too
