I have seen similar articles and is partly the reason I am quite bullish on POG for the rest of 2024. POG may even do better this time due to the huge US government and private debt.
When there is panic or blood in the streets the POG does go down significantly in a short period due in part to panic but also from sellers who need cash for margin calls. The POG very quickly reverses direction and rises significantly - it’s always a minor blip - equities go even lower.
If the non-farm payrolls and unemployment rate are poor we may see POG spot go over $US2,500
