From my perspective, of course it’s good strategy to take some off the table, but at these gold prices it’s probably best to maintain a decent sized holding across a number of your favourite gold stocks simply because of M&A potential right across the sector. As calm has pointed out, most goldies represent good value and if the market doesn’t re-rate these stocks, there’s a great chance they’ll be taken out by an acquirer. In the meantime, Trump policy is super supportive of the gold price, just keep an eye on him he doesn’t go soft.
