Gold and oil decoupled when oil went to $150 and we didn't see the correspondence in gold. If you check out the gold/oil ratio you can see how evident this is. I think their going to realign back to the 10/1 around 800/80, then both move back up in tandem as the manipulation will cease in both markets.
