I wasn't really confronting your original idea and you've added to that by suggesting a broader focus than that associated with IT and the telecommunications
industry.l

It was more that sector I had in mind and I'm sure there are those here who are more competent than I am to give an overview of the likely future of the High Tech industry.

I think as far as gold goes quite a few of us have been thinking along the same lines. That is that gold is not likely to dominate or at least be part of the portfolios of almost every player as the High Techs were.

If some of the drivers for a higher POG come into play those in gold should still be well rewarded even if there is not extensive investment in gold stocks.

I think those estimates of USD5600/oz can only come from thinking that "everyone" will be after a piece of the action.
