a visit would show a commitment to democracy"...and..."it actually means that your prime minister and your leadership has really taken it [the war] very personally"...and... "We need your reputation, we need your influence, and we need your voice" etc etc.I think that is a good idea. But, rather than attending the photo opportunities in Kyiv like other world leaders, I think our "show pony" should show the world what a real leader would do .... by putting on her best party frock - take Zelensky by the hand and heading to say, Bakhmut, Siversk or Solidar for some morale boosting talks with the poor buggers on the front line!! It's easy to make the one liners from 10,000km's away.
Then, she announces..."Cabinet on Monday decided to deploy 120 soldiers to the United Kingdom, at the invitation of the UK to assist its efforts in providing basic combat and first aid training to 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers".
This essentially confirms Russia has chewed through most, if not all, of Ukraine's "trained" soldiers - but instead of trying to limit even more killing by negotiating a solution, the show pony is making us a party to what can only be termed democide. I can't believe they are literally going to fight "to the last Ukrainian". What are they going to do once these 10,000 newbies have been chewed through? Will they start training the women and then the children ready for the front lines.
