The present war with Russia is fought in Ukaine but also in Sudan and in the Middle east.
Alls these apparently disconnected conflicts are part of one single great conflict between western powers on one side, and and Russia and China, on the other side.
The point of all this is to save the dollar and the western financial system.
To save the financial system, the West - but mainly the United States and UK - must absolutly regain control of the Middle East.
That means that they must be again in a position to coerce Saudi Arabia and other middle eastern producers to sell their oil in dollar and not in Yuan or in any BRICS money.
At this moment, this can't be done because these countries have a de facto deffensive alliance with Russia.
If Russia lose its naval base in Syria and its other smaller support places in the Mediterranean, countries that are currently rebelling agains the dollar, will have to go back to their old masters if they want to avoid any regime change operations in their countries.
The maine objective of the Ukraine War is to kick Russia out of the Mediterranean by limiting its movments out of the Black Sea.
... And the key to the Black Sea is Crimea.
Crimea is the real Prize. It always has been.
In his book The Grand Chessboard, Zbigniew Brzezinsk explained - some twenty five years ago - why Russia + Ukraine was a world power , but Russia without Ulraine would only be an ordinary second rank power.
And this is because of Crimea.
Crimea control the Black Sea, and the Black Sea is the only russian practical access to the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
Once Russia will have lost all its support places in Syria, in Egypt - where Russia has a small naval facility - and in Sudan (where Russia is trying to build a naval base on the Red Sea), then the US and the UK will be in a position to regain full control of the Middle East.
Wich means regaining control of the middle east oil
Tis oil has been backing the dollar since 1975 .
Wich means that, except for the russian oil, most of the oil on the world market will have to be bought in dollars again.
And because of that, a large part of the world trade will also have to be sold in dollars again, each country willing to make sure to have enough dollar to buy oil and energy.
This will garanty that the United States will be again in a position to run a large deficit to finance its military power and its ability to coerce almost every country in the world.
That's why taking control of Crimea is a vital issue for the United States.
That's why the Ukainian military and Nato are starting to differ about the war priorities :
The Ukrainian army wants first to take back the eastern provinces - presently under russian control - because these provinces are the richest ones. Most natural gas fields are there and most industries are there.
But Nato had paid and trained about fourty thousand men - around ten brigades - for only one task : taking back Crimea.
Simultaneous Nato has at least three other fronts :
- Turkey (which control the Bosphorus), where the West is trying to topple Erdogan
- Syria where the MSM is preparing the western public for another war.
- And finally Soudan where the western powers must avoid at all cost that Russia gets its naval base on the Red Sea
At least this seems to be the plan.
The point is that Crimea is a vital issue for Russia and for Nato as long as the United States consider that remaining the world Hegemon is a vital issue.
This situation most certainly garanty a dangerous escalation in the next few months.
It will probably starts with an "Ukrainian" offensive against Crimea.
Probably starting from the Odessa region with "ukrainian-Nato" pilots granting a most needed air cover to those new brigades
Moldavia could be pusshed into the conflict because the jets will have to take off from there.
But who cares about Moldava which is not even in Nato.
But because of this dangerous situation, some people in the West (in Europe, but not only) could decide that this crisis must stay under control.
One way to do that could be to limit the financial might of the United States by allowing some kind of default to occur with the US debt.
