Looking at this coup in Niger and it could end up being a problem for gold share holders in the region if escalation arises.
Below is an interview with an American radio news program about the game and it is one sided as is usual for the Americans.
The key takeaway from reading between the lines from what I can see is that the Burkina Faso and the Malian leaderships are onboard with the Niger coup as they have already pushed out the French in favour of the Ruski's. At the least they probably knew about the coup before it happened.
The Americans are working feverishly to prevent African countries aligning with Russia. They will be putting massive pressure on ECOWAS to pull the coup plotters into line.
ECOWAS apparently have given the coup leaders a week to reinstall the President. And Blinken is backing it.
So is the Empire of chaos going to try and force ECOWAS to resort to a military solution if the coup leaders don't back down?? Along of course with Yankee special forces. It certainly wouldn't surprise me and neither would it surprise me that if they tried this stunt things might well work out about as well as they are working out for them in Ukraine.
No doubt the American's will be working on contingencies and the French, well they're probably waiting to be told what to do.
Might be a bit bumpy for share holders in the region.
