Looking at the Russian/North Korea situation and they go way back to the early 1950's when the Americans were waging war against Korea and the Ruski's (Soviets) were assisting the North Koreans against the Americans. North Korea has a physical border with Russia and there was no way the Ruski's were going to allow the American run Koreans to border Russia. The Ruski's will protect North Korea all the way. And of course give them whats required from a military standpoint for them to do whats required.
