ha ha..."talking about himself" is actually code for "clearly stating the credentials he has so the audience understands he is qualified to talk about the subject".
As for your 17 mins bit about what gives the Russia the right to make an "ultimatum"... you need to listen more carefully to what built up to that moment. So, start from 12:10 and listen carefully. Gets really pointed at 15:14. At 16:57 he talks of the American Ambassador (Burns) writing a memo (in 2009) making it absolutely clear what the Russian red line is and what the consequences would be if they were ignored. That is, the destruction of Ukraine.
Given that clarity from their own Ambassador, can you advise why Russia were simply ignored by the US and why NATO proceeded to expand Eastwards??
Mr Ritter's version of events appears to mirror that of others. The fact he may give his opinion pieces on RT is a convenient red herring. I wonder, as an American - whether he was asked to give his expert analysis to the likes of CNN, Fox, BBC etc.
As to "what gives Russia the right".... This is probably best answered by another question....What gave Kennedy the right to threaten Nuclear War against Russia in 1963 when Cuba had requested military assistance from Russia?
You seem to be confused (brainwashed?) as to who are the real problem in the world.
