There is an article in the AFR suggesting that the deposit requirements for using iron ore and copper as collateral is likely to be raised.
Would that increase the demand for the use of gold as collateral?
It is my understanding that the Chinese govt is seeking to build gold reserves. Would they then be supportive of gold being used as collateral (which would increase import of gold?)
Comments welcome
Cheers
