We know that isn't the case. Might be your bias against those you see as 'goldbugs' that has you perceiving it that way, but I haven't seen a single post where that claim has been made, ever.

The fact is that Australia is a mineral rich country, Gold is a significant and ongoing part of that picture, and people have made fortunes out of Gold and will continue to do so.
