@there-is-no-try and @Crom Valen are so emotionally invested in their gold positions that they seem to have forgotten what a joke is.

I am sure that it is possible to make and lose money in the gold market. The question is how much and what is the realistic probability of the expected return. My assessment is that you won't take much damage, but that you won't make that much either.

For your sakes, I hope my assessment of the upside is wrong, and that you do really well.
