Interesting in comment in the current report in the koongie park section saying that in addition to the Zn/Cu/Pb/Ag mineralisation, gold and cobol mineralisation of potential interest occurs in both deposits.
I recalled reading something in relation to this in the past and found this in the the Sept 2003 qtrly report:
The Koongie Park project is has been predominantly explored for base metals with little systematic exploration for gold. Some of the drill holes at base metal prospects Sandiego and Onedin were assayed for gold with best intersections of 9m @ 9.49g/t Au from Onedin and 5m @ 8.13g/t Au from Sandiego.
As a potential by-product these are not insignificant intersects of gold. Thought it added an interesting angle to the koongie project given the current situation with gold prices.
