Good points mate, I have been trying to pick the bottom in gold for the past month to no avail.
Then yesterday there was a huge bullish reversal.
I will be buying all the dips in gold now.
My fav ASX gold miners are NST, RED and CMM but I think US gold miners like NEM, GFI and others are even more undervalued
HOWEVER
in AUD terms, gold is rallying hard which means au miners will have to catch up eventually.
There was a little piece in the AFR yesterday about this divergence and how au goldies might be a good buy right now.
a few respected hedge funds are hopping onboard the gold train soon too.
