Here is a post I did in January... Refresh memories on the Crown Prince.(old Kyarra)

Rhodite, I have been reading some Geology reports commissioned by Red Dragon prior to the takeover and given to me by a previous shareholder, reading the relevant info on the Kyarra Gold Mine (K) reconfirms my belief that K will play a big part in the overall mine plan of Thundelarra's.

Some info to ponder on.

Kyarra Gold Mine was discovered in 1909 and up to 1915 recovered 628 kg gold from 29,400t @ grade of 21.4 gt au.

Julia mines drilled K and reported 6 significant intersections ie : 10.6m @ 13.69gt au and 7.1m @ 23.47 gt au.

In the report there are some interesting statements. ie:

The Garden Gully historical area has production records of 737,484 grams of gold with an average grade of 21.69 gt au, mined between 1894 and 1942. Mainly from the Kyarra Group and the Crown Group.

In the report it mentions a preliminary existing resource at the K mine, done by Gemvon Aust P/L varying from 26,819 tonnes @ 21.45 gt au for 18,500 oz gold to 33,955 tonnes @ 5.61 gt au for 33,955 ozs gold.

So the gold is still there under the ground and I would like to think that Whirlpool estimate of 100,000 ozs is a reality.

The Crown Gold Mine is located 1 km SSW of K gold mine with a recorded production of 264t @ 62 gt au.

Thunderlarra now control the whole Garden Gully Hisorical workings and other extensive claim areas north.

In the Geology report he concluded. The GG project area is a prime area for the occurrence of Archaean shear hosted lode gold deposits. The possibilities range from stand alone operation to a series of small satellite deposits.
